So Tiamat popped while I was at work, we were only LS to show up and kill. Bout 2hrs later...

Needless to say, very disappointing..

After Tiamat fun, decided to do some crafting to make up some money for currency buying. Had been saving up some Platinum earrings+1 and finally went for some more hades+1

Now to sell the damn things. If anyone is interested, or knows anyone interested, please send them my way. Doesn't matter who you are, i'll make you a good deal on them..

Started Saturday morning off with an early morning Fafnir pull. Drops weren't too impressive, but a fun fight as always.

After Fafnir, did some meripo, saving up for wind instrument skill. After about 40k exp, called it quits and went to do some Proto-Omega. After our previous 2 kills of just getting Homam head and feet, we were actually rewarded with some fairly impressive drops.

Woke up Sunday morning and found out that we had lost pull on a first window Nidhogg. Congrats to Stellvia on the pull and kill. I then spent some time with Knightdemon and Sylfa going over some strategies on Dynamis-xar. We have been doing dynamis as a linkshell for roughly a month and a half now and have cleared all cities and beaucidine, as well as extensively farmed hydras and attestation NMs. Check a few different websites for maps and info on pulls and made out what we thought to be a fairly decent plan of attack for xarcabard. We entered at about 6:30est and went to town. After a rough first pull on the first time extender, things started to pickup. Roughly 30mins in, we picked up a Melee Crown which went to Matthias. After a few sets of NM's, a M.silver dropped which Aikon won the lot on, and then on the last set of NM's, King Zagan gave up his Wyrm Armet which went to Datonare.



Congrats again to Datonare and Matthias on some nice AF. For our first attempt at xarcabard, I believe we did extremely well! We were able to hit all 5 30min time extenders and get well past the 6 "wall of eyes" before the Vangaurd Dragons. We stopped at that and turned around and did some farming, and explored a bit. We had I think 2 or 3 full wipes due to some confusion and links, but I think with 2-3 more runs, we'll be able to comfortably farm xarcabard without any problems. Final coin count for the night was 165 with the silverpiece that dropped, netting me 147 useful currency. As for currency count towards the Gjallarhorn...

Picked up roughly 600 o.bronzepieces today through xarca and rolanberry bazaars. Should have all 6000 coins for the upgrade in about a week or so. After that, buying is going to be put on hold as i'm about out of gil. Need to spend less time exping and more time crafting.

Hello, for those of you who do not know me, I am Debutis of FFXI's server Garuda. I run the linkshell Demo along with many friends in the game. Since so many other people have a livejournal I thought I would start my own and try to keep up with the progress i'm making on what I hope to be a Gjallarhorn. Along with the relic upgrade i'll also try to post pictures of events and such from ffxi. Will try to keep it as updated as possible. Also, most things will probably change as I get more familiar with everything, the colors and layout and such. Anyways, here's a few things that has happened recently with Demo.
